Problem Note 60066: You might experience slow performance when you run PROC DS2 with large formats

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

You might experience very slow performance with PROC DS2 when you use a large format that contains approximately 20,000 ranges.  This is most likely to occur when the format range values are more than 16 characters long and one range contains another range with extra characters appended.  An example of this is ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQ and ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQR because the first range is found in the second range.
